Maize CORN 328 MV

Corn hybrid 'Kadr 328 MV' is a three-line medium-early hybrid with FAO 260, developed by Ukrainian selection and included in the State Register since 2001. This hybrid is recommended for cultivation in the Polissia, Forest-Steppe, and Steppe zones, suitable both for grain production and silage. Plants reach a height of 220-250 cm, with weak branching, ensuring high resistance to lodging and stem breakage. There are about 16 leaves on the main stem, ears 21-23 cm long, cylindrical in shape with well-developed tips, containing 16 rows of kernels with 36-40 kernels per row. Kernels are yellow and dent-shaped, with a 1000-kernel weight of 230-260 g. The hybrid is characterized by high potential yield: grain — 12.5-13.0 t/ha, silage — 45-60 t/ha. Optimal planting density varies depending on the cultivation zone: from 45-50 thousand plants per hectare in the steppe zone to 80-85 thousand in Polissia. 'Kadr 328 MV' exhibits high resistance to lodging, major diseases, and pests, as well as medium resistance to drought and cold, making it a reliable choice for various climatic conditions in Ukraine. Corn 'Kadr 328 MV' is an important agricultural crop, valued for its adaptability and high productivity. It is widely used in the food industry for producing flour, grit, oil, and alcohol, as well as in the feed industry due to its high green mass yield and excellent nutritional properties of silage. Thanks to its characteristics, this hybrid contributes to effective crop rotation and soil quality improvement, making it profitable and promising for farmers and agronomists.
