Description Chigirinsky 267 SV
Corn Chigirinsky 267 SV is a mid-early variety developed by the Ukrainian Academy of Agricultural Sciences and recommended for cultivation in the steppe and forest-steppe zones of Ukraine. This variety is characterized by high resistance to diseases and pests, ensuring stable yields and reducing the risk of losses under adverse conditions. Plants reach a height of about 240-250 cm, have cylindrical ears 21-23 cm long with yellow dent kernels, and a 1000-kernel weight of approximately 230-260 g.

Chigirinsky 267 SV is a three-line hybrid with 100% seed germination and a potential grain yield of 12.5-13 t/ha. In addition, the variety is suitable for silage production, providing green mass yields of 45-60 t/ha. Plants exhibit weak bushiness, which contributes to resistance to lodging and mechanical damage. The optimal planting density is 50-55 thousand plants per hectare.

This corn variety is widely used as a valuable food and feed crop. The grain contains significant amounts of protein, carbohydrates, fats, vitamins, and microelements, making it an important raw material for the food industry and oil production. Corn silage has high digestibility and rich nutritional properties, making the variety popular for livestock and poultry feeding. Due to its adaptability to climatic conditions and high productivity, Chigirinsky 267 SV is a reliable choice for farmers and agrarians in Ukraine.
