Corn hybrid AS 34011 is a mid-late maturity interline hybrid with FAO 400, intended for grain and silage production. This hybrid is characterized by high yield and is adapted for cultivation in various climatic zones of Ukraine, including steppe regions, forest-steppe, and Polissia. Plants reach an average height of about 260 cm, with ears positioned at approximately 110 cm. The grain is dent-shaped and deep yellow, with cylindrical ears containing 14 to 18 rows of kernels. The vegetative period ranges from 120 to 126 days depending on the growing region. Hybrid AS 34011 exhibits high resistance to adverse weather conditions, including drought and temperature fluctuations, ensuring stable yields under various conditions. It features a pronounced Stay Green effect, maintaining leaf green mass longer, which contributes to increased productivity. Plants are resistant to major corn diseases such as helminthosporium, downy mildew, and powdery mildew, as well as pests including corn borer. The hybrid demonstrates good germination, high uniformity, and moderate water loss during ripening, facilitating harvest and storage. AS 34011 responds well to various agronomic practices and is adapted to resource-saving and energy-efficient cultivation technologies. Recommended planting density varies by region: 65-75 thousand plants per hectare in Polissia, 50-60 thousand in forest-steppe, and 35-40 thousand plants per hectare in steppe. Grain yield potential reaches 16.2 t/ha, and silage yield reaches up to 9.1 t/ha, making this hybrid a profitable choice for agroindustrial enterprises focused on producing high-quality grain and feed.
