Maize GW0185

Stable yields: The potential of the GU0185 hybrid

For agricultural enterprises focused on high-quality dent-type corn, choosing the GU0185 hybrid from Golden West Seed Bulgaria is a strategic move. Demonstrating adaptability within a wide FAO range (90–1240), this hybrid is designed for consistent performance in intensive cultivation systems.

Agronomic features and planting density

With a vegetation period of 120-140 days, this hybrid is optimal for regions with sufficient heat units, allowing the plant to fully realize its grain potential. The seeding rate choice depends directly on soil moisture levels and your site's agronomic background:

• 60,000-65,000 seeds/ha: Recommended for water-stressed conditions where minimizing competition for soil resources is critical.
• 70,000-75,000 seeds/ha: A standard configuration for areas with adequate rainfall and effective fertilizer application.
• 75,000-80,000 seeds/ha: An intensive model for irrigated fields designed to maximize grain yield per unit area.

Practical application in the field

The dent-type grain of the GU0185 hybrid ensures excellent moisture release during maturation, which significantly reduces post-harvest drying costs. This is a key advantage for farms looking to optimize logistics and storage. The hybrid is ideal for growers investing in high-quality seeds capable of efficient nutrient uptake and resilience against environmental stressors throughout the season. GU0185 serves as a reliable tool for agronomists aiming to hit target yield benchmarks in commercial corn production.
