Corn GW3024

Bulgarian breeding for Ukrainian fields

The GU3024 hybrid is a fresh result of the breeding work by GOLDEN WEST RESEARCH EOOD, officially entering the Ukrainian market in 2025. This development from Bulgarian specialists is focused on intensive grain production, making it a significant addition to the portfolio of hybrids available to farmers this season.

Adaptability and cultivation geography

The key feature of GU3024 lies in its broad ecological plasticity. The hybrid has passed state registration with approval for cultivation in all key agro-climatic zones of Ukraine: Steppe, Forest-Steppe, and Polissya. Such versatility allows farmers to use the same genetic material in various soil and climatic conditions, minimizing risks associated with regional specifics.

Technological highlights

As a first-generation hybrid (F1), GU3024 demonstrates the stability of the traits established by the originator. The mid-ripening group allows for optimal planning of the harvest campaign, balancing yield potential with grain moisture release. The primary use is for commercial grain production, which requires the hybrid to have high initial growth energy and resistance to stress factors typical for the Steppe and Forest-Steppe zones.
