F 10 is a mid-early super-sweet hybrid of sweet corn, intended for fresh market and culinary processing. The maturation period is approximately 80-85 days, corresponding to 960 thermal units at a base temperature of 10 °C. Plants reach a height of 210-220 cm, and ears have a cylindrical shape, about 20 cm long and 4.7-5.2 cm in diameter. Kernels are arranged in 16-20 rows, have a dent shape, and a bright yellow color that remains even after freezing. Kernel height is 13-14 mm, and sugar content exceeds 12%, ensuring excellent taste qualities and making this hybrid particularly attractive to consumers.
Hybrid F 10 is distinguished by high yield and high commercial mass output due to deep kernel placement and uniform ear formation. Plants possess strong immunity and resistance to a wide range of diseases, including bacterial blight, northern and southern helminthosporiosis, rust, and corn mosaic virus. This makes the crop reliable and easy to grow for both home gardeners and commercial producers.
Corn F 10 is a warm-season crop that does not tolerate frost, so it is recommended to sow it in several batches with a two-week interval, starting in May. Ears are harvested at technical maturity, while kernels have not hardened, allowing them to be used for boiling, canning, and freezing. Corn kernels are rich in beneficial substances — vitamins A, C, B group, fiber, fatty and essential oils, and minerals, making this product not only tasty but also nutritious.
