Maize M 74

M 74 is an early super-sweet Sh2-type corn hybrid intended for cultivation in open ground. The vegetative period is approximately 70-74 days, allowing for a quick harvest. The plant features a strong leaf canopy, resistance to lodging, and high adaptability to stressful conditions, including resistance to rust. Plant height ranges from 170 to 220 cm, and the height of the first ear reaches 60-70 cm, ensuring good development and ear formation.

Corn ears have a cylindrical shape and are about 21-23 cm long with a diameter of approximately 5-5.3 cm. Kernels are light yellow or white, with 16 to 18 rows and kernel depth of 10-12 mm. The kernels have high sugar content (over 23%), providing a juicy and sweet taste. Ears have excellent market appearance, good kernel alignment, and reliable husk protection, making them attractive for fresh markets and processing.

Hybrid M 74 is suitable for both fresh consumption and processing. Seeds are treated with modern contact-system fungicides and technologies aimed at enhancing drought resistance. Yield reaches 30-40 thousand ears per hectare. Due to its long storage life after harvest and high disease resistance, this hybrid is a reliable choice for farmers seeking high-quality and stable yields.
