Phytosanitary Immunity and Field Resilience

The technological value of this model lies in its comprehensive defense against the most aggressive maize pathogens. Breeders have prioritized genetically encoded resistance to the following threats:

• Common Smut: The hybrid effectively prevents infection of reproductive organs, ensuring yield potential remains stable even under high disease pressure.
• Helminthosporium and Rust: Enhanced protection of the leaf canopy allows the plant to maintain photosynthetic activity for a longer duration, directly boosting grain filling.
• Fusarium: High tolerance to ear and stalk rot minimizes the risk of mycotoxin accumulation in the final yield.
