DN Sinray

DN Sinray is an early-maturing simple hybrid of sweet corn with FAO 190, intended for versatile use, including grain and silage production. Plants reach a height of 230-250 cm, with cylindrical ears 21-23 cm long, attached at a height of 70-90 cm. Grain is dent-shaped, yellow, with a 1000-seed mass of 270-280 g, ensuring high grain yield and up to 80-81% grain content. The hybrid is characterized by high tolerance to planting density and resistance to major diseases and pests, as well as drought and late frosts, making it especially suitable for cultivation in various climatic zones of Ukraine, including Steppe, Forest-Steppe, and Polissia. DN Sinray features a strong anthocyanic stem, which enhances resistance to lodging and promotes stable yields. Recommended planting density varies depending on the cultivation zone: in Steppe — 50-60 thousand per hectare, in Forest-Steppe — 75-85 thousand per hectare, in Polissia — 80-90 thousand per hectare. The hybrid demonstrates accelerated spring development and high rate of dry matter accumulation at maturity, resulting in grain moisture at harvest of 13-14%. Potential grain yield reaches 11.5-12 t/ha under intensive cultivation and proper agronomic practices. For improved cultivation efficiency, seed treatment with fungicides and insecticides such as Maxim XL, as well as growth stimulants, is recommended. Seeds are supplied in bags of 80,000 units, convenient for sowing on large areas. The hybrid responds well to increased planting density and intensive cultivation technologies, enabling high and stable yields even under variable climatic conditions.
