DN Noi is an early-maturing hybrid of sweet corn developed by the breeding company Pop Vriend Seeds from the Netherlands. It is characterized by a vegetative period of 70-72 days and belongs to the SH2 type, meaning it is a super-sweet variety with sugar content exceeding 25%. Plants reach a height of approximately 195 centimeters, and the ears have a cylindrical shape, 22 centimeters long and 5.5 centimeters in diameter, with attractive yellow kernels and 16-18 rows. Such appearance and taste qualities make this hybrid competitive in the market.
The DN Noi hybrid is distinguished by high yield, ranging from 60 to 140 centners per hectare depending on the region: Polissya — 78.8 centners/ha, Forest Steppe — 77.3 centners/ha, Steppe — 51.5 centners/ha. Yield in tons reaches 26-27 tons per hectare. The ears maintain freshness and market appearance for more than 14 days after harvest, ensuring excellent transportability and long-term storage capability.
DN Noi exhibits high resistance to various stress factors and diseases, including SCLB (helminthosporiosis) and NCLB (brown spot). Resistance to lodging and shattering is rated 8-9, indicating the hybrid's reliability under adverse weather conditions. The hybrid can actively develop even during cool summers and challenging climatic conditions, quickly recover from stress, and enable the possibility of a second harvest within one season. All these qualities make DN Noi a profitable and reliable choice for farmers seeking high income and stable sweet corn yields.
