Maize DN Noi

Early Harvest Strategy for Efficient Crop Rotation

"DN Noy" is a high-performance simple hybrid developed by the Institute of Grain Crops of the Steppe Zone of the NAAS. Designed for producers who prioritize operational flexibility, this hybrid completes its vegetation cycle in just 70–72 days. This ultra-early maturity allows farms to harvest well ahead of standard hybrids, clearing fields for autumn planting or post-harvest operations.

Practical Advantages in the Field

• Pathogen Tolerance: Bred specifically for the climatic conditions of Ukraine, "DN Noy" exhibits excellent resistance to Helminthosporium and brown spot. This natural resilience reduces the need for frequent fungicide applications, making it a sustainable choice for integrated farm management.
• Operational Efficiency: The primary economic value lies in its drying costs reduction. With a 70–72 day maturity period, the grain typically achieves ideal moisture levels for harvesting, minimizing the energy consumption required for industrial drying and increasing profit margins per hectare.

Farmers often integrate "DN Noy" into rotation systems where time is a critical factor. Whether it is used in double-cropping schemes or as a safety net to ensure timely winter wheat sowing, this hybrid provides reliable, consistent performance. It is an optimized solution for those operating in the Steppe and Forest-Steppe zones, focusing on risk mitigation and fast capital return from the season.
