DN Patriot

DN Patriot is a high-yielding, early-maturing three-line hybrid sweet corn with FAO 190, developed by Ukrainian breeders of the Institute of Grain Crops and registered in the Variety Register since 2017. The hybrid is intended for grain production and is distinguished by high cold resistance, making it especially suitable for the forest-steppe and Polissia regions. Thanks to its rapid early growth, DN Patriot is also suitable for late planting, ensuring stable plant development under spring frosts.

Plants reach a height of 230-240 cm, do not form bushiness, and ears are located at a height of 95-105 cm. Cylindrical ears, 22-23 cm long, contain 14-16 rows of kernels with a red cob. Kernels are yellow, cream-colored, toothed, with a 1000-kernel weight of 270-280 g and a grain yield of up to 80-81%. The hybrid has a strong anthocyanin stem and high resistance to diseases and pests.

A distinctive feature of DN Patriot is its remontant type, which ensures repeated development and high productivity. The hybrid demonstrates moderate water use efficiency during maturation, but it is characterized by high dry matter accumulation, typical of northern ecotypes. These qualities make DN Patriot a reliable choice for farmers aiming to achieve high-quality yields under challenging climatic conditions.
