Maize DN Bucha

Reliable Yields for Modern Grain Production

The «DN Bucha» corn variety, developed by the Institute of Grain Crops of the NAAS, is a robust solution for farmers focused on consistent performance and economic efficiency. With an FAO range of 90–1240 and a maturation period of 90–100 days, this variety is engineered to deliver stable grain yields, making it an excellent choice for regions with varying climatic conditions.

Agronomic Management and Sowing Density

Successful management of «DN Bucha» involves adjusting planting density to match the specific site conditions and available resources:

• High-Intensity Systems: In fertile soils with optimal nutrient management, a density of 70,000–75,000 plants/ha is recommended to maximize ear potential and overall yield.
• Water-Limited Environments: Under dryland conditions or limited moisture availability, a density of 55,000–60,000 plants/ha is advised. This reduces plant-to-plant competition and ensures proper grain filling throughout the growing season.

By choosing «DN Bucha», agricultural producers leverage proven Ukrainian breeding that is specifically adapted to local soil and weather patterns. This variety is designed for those who require a reliable grain crop that minimizes input risks while ensuring a solid harvest at the end of the season.
