Description DN Bagryanyi
DN Bagryanyi is a simple modified mid-early corn hybrid characterized by high drought and heat tolerance, as well as stable grain yield. Plants of this hybrid reach a height of approximately 230-240 cm, do not bush, and the ear is attached at a height of 80-100 cm. Ears have cylindrical or cone-cylindrical shape, 21-24 cm long, with 14-16 rows of kernels, which are tooth-shaped and yellow-orange in color. The 1000-kernel weight ranges from 270-320 g, indicating high seed quality.

The hybrid is characterized by a well-developed root system, providing resistance to lodging even under adverse weather conditions. It has high resistance to major diseases and pests, such as powdery mildew, corn borer, fusarium rot, and corn earworm. Due to its adaptability, DN Bagryanyi tolerates short-term spring frosts and responds positively to improved growing conditions, including application of mineral fertilizers and irrigation.

This hybrid is recommended for cultivation in various agroclimatic zones of Ukraine, including Steppe, Forest-Steppe, and Polissia. It demonstrates high yield potential, reaching 9-13 tons of grain per hectare depending on growing conditions. Grain moisture content is high, promoting optimal maturation and ease of harvest. DN Bagryanyi is a reliable choice for producers seeking a combination of high productivity, stress tolerance, and grain quality.
