DA Sonka

The DA Sonka corn hybrid from Brevant Seeds (Pioneer) is a high-yielding simple hybrid with dent kernel type and mid-late maturity group (FAO 350). It features excellent early growth and good kernel quality, ensuring high yield potential up to 19 tons per hectare. Plants reach a height of 240-270 cm, with a strong root system and sturdy stalk, and ear attachment height of 100-125 cm. Ear rows range from 16 to 18, and kernels per row from 24 to 48, contributing to the hybrid's high productivity.

DA Sonka exhibits good drought tolerance and high water efficiency, enabling it to successfully adapt to various soil-climate conditions, especially in the Polissia and Steppe regions of Ukraine. It shows above-average resistance to major diseases, reducing the risk of yield loss. Remontancy and stalk strength ensure reliability under adverse weather conditions. Recommended planting density varies depending on growing conditions: 65-75 thousand plants per hectare under favorable conditions, and 50-65 thousand under unfavorable conditions.

The DA Sonka hybrid is intended for grain production and is suitable for monoculture on good agrofunds. Seeds are produced in the elite class, packaged in 20-24 kg bags, with approximately 80,000 seeds per unit. Due to its characteristics and adaptability, DA Sonka is a reliable choice for farmers aiming to achieve high and stable corn yields under various conditions.
