MAS 36A — this is a high-yielding corn hybrid developed for cultivation under adequate moisture conditions, recommended for the Polissia and Forest-Steppe zones. The hybrid is medium-maturing, with FAO 300-500, and intended for grain production. Plants have medium-high stature with strong structure, ensuring resistance to lodging. Plant type — Stay Green, which promotes prolonged retention of green mass and improves water shedding. Grain is dent-shaped, with row numbers ranging from 14 to 16 and 34–40 kernels per row, providing high yield potential up to 17.5 t/ha. The hybrid demonstrates high initial growth energy, ensuring rapid start and good plant development. It is stress-tolerant, including drought resistance, due to high drought tolerance and efficient water shedding. This makes MAS 36A suitable for cultivation in both adequately and insufficiently moist areas, with recommended planting density varying depending on growing conditions. High tolerance to common corn diseases, such as rust, stalk and ear fusarium, and ear rot, ensures stable yields and reduces risk of losses. MAS 36A seeds are available in packages of 50,000 seeds and are suitable for intensive farming. Thanks to its agronomic characteristics and resistance to adverse factors, this hybrid is a reliable choice for farmers aiming to achieve high-quality corn yields in Ukraine.
