DA Siboney

The DA Siboney corn hybrid is a high-yielding variety with excellent adaptability to various soil-climate conditions, recommended for cultivation in the Polissia and Forest-Steppe regions of Ukraine. This mid-late maturing hybrid with dent kernel type belongs to FAO group 350 and is characterized by high initial growth energy, ensuring rapid plant development and effective weed suppression. Recommended planting density varies depending on growing conditions: 65-70 thousand plants per hectare under favorable conditions and 55-60 thousand under less favorable conditions.

DA Siboney exhibits high drought and main corn disease resistance, making it a reliable choice for intensive farming. Plants demonstrate good germination and stable growth even in cold conditions, expanding cultivation possibilities across various climate zones. Plant height reaches about 185 cm, promoting robust vegetative mass formation and good ear development.

The hybrid is intended for grain production and is suitable for monoculture cultivation. Due to its characteristics, DA Siboney ensures high yield and stable product quality. Its kernels have good taste qualities, and the hybrid features a prolonged harvest period without quality loss, allowing optimization of agronomic practices and increased economic efficiency of production.
