DKS 3705 — a high-yielding corn hybrid with a maturity group of FAO 300, classified as mid-late maturing. It features a dent kernel type with a 1000-kernel weight ranging from 300 to 360 grams and high starch content exceeding 72%. Plants reach heights of 210 to 250 cm, possess a robust root system, and have an ear attachment height of 100–120 cm. The ear contains 14 to 18 rows of kernels, with 40–46 kernels per row, yielding 590 to 770 kernels per ear. The hybrid exhibits early flowering and rapid moisture release during maturation, facilitating timely harvest and reducing losses under adverse weather conditions. DKS 3705 demonstrates high resistance to common corn diseases, including common smut, stalk and ear Fusarium, and root and stalk rot. The hybrid is also characterized by good cold and drought tolerance, making it adaptable to various soil-climate growing conditions. Recommended cultivation zones include the Polissia and Forest-Steppe regions of Ukraine, although the hybrid is suitable for all zones and can be grown using intensive technologies, including conventional, minimum, and No-Tillage soil management methods. To achieve maximum yield, plant at optimal sowing times when soil temperature reaches 9°C and follow recommended planting densities: 70,000–75,000 plants per hectare under adequate moisture, 60,000–65,000 under unstable conditions, and 50,000–55,000 under drought conditions. The hybrid is suitable for grain production and may also be used for silage and biofuel production, including biogas and bioethanol. Average grain yield across Ukraine is approximately 109.74 centners per hectare, confirming the hybrid’s high productivity and economic efficiency.
