CSZ 3202

CSZ 3202 — a high-yielding corn hybrid for grain purposes, intended for cultivation in the Polissia and Forest-Steppe regions of Ukraine. It belongs to the medium-early maturity group with FAO 240 and is characterized by a dent type kernel. The hybrid exhibits high adaptability to various soil-climate conditions, tolerates low temperatures well, and shows resistance to drought and lodging, making it suitable for adaptive cultivation technologies. Recommended planting density varies depending on soil moisture levels — from 60,000 to 80,000 plants per hectare.

The plant is tall with upright leaves and a long, thick ear containing medium or more rows of kernels. The kernel has an intermediate type, closer to dent, with yellow-orange coloration. The hybrid shows weak anthocyanin pigmentation of roots and husk, with flowering and silk emergence time being medium or late. The attachment height of the upper ear relative to the plant is relatively high, which contributes to good moisture shedding after maturity.

CSZ 3202 exhibits high resistance to stalk diseases, including fusarium, as well as to stress factors related to water deficiency. It demonstrates stable yields even under adverse climatic conditions, confirmed by high moisture shedding efficiency and high starch content in the grain. These qualities make the hybrid a reliable choice for obtaining high-quality grain with high yield.
