Corn DKS 3789 is a mid-early hybrid of the dent type, developed by breeders of the company DEKALB (Monsanto). The plant is characterized by high plasticity and a strong root system, which ensures resistance to various climatic conditions, including cold and drought. The plant height ranges from 210 to 250 cm, and the ear attachment height is 90-100 cm. The ear contains 12-16 rows of kernels, each with 35-42 kernels, totaling 460-570 kernels per ear. The 1000-kernel weight varies from 320 to 440 grams, and the kernel color is orange.

The hybrid exhibits high resistance to diseases, particularly stalk and ear Fusarium, with a resistance rating of 9 out of 10, as well as moderate resistance to bacterial disease and stalk borer. The plant demonstrates good water shedding and tolerates prolonged delays, allowing flexible harvest scheduling. The recommended planting density depends on moisture conditions and ranges from 55,000 to 80,000 plants per hectare.

DKS 3789 is suitable for cultivation on various soil types, except heavy clay soils, and can be successfully grown in all regions. The hybrid tolerates monoculture well and adapts to different soil management methods, including conventional, minimum, and No-tillage. The yield potential reaches 125 centners per hectare (15-17 tons per hectare), making this variety attractive for high-quality grain production.
