Maize Adonis 180 SV

Corn Adonis 180 SV is a high-yielding grain corn variety developed by NAAN of Ukraine. The plant is tall, reaching 225-235 cm in height, does not form bushy growth, and has 16-18 leaves on the main stem. The ear is conical in shape, 20-23 cm long, with a red stalk and contains 36-38 kernels per row. The 1000-kernel weight is 200-245 g, indicating the variety's large kernel size.

The variety exhibits high resistance to lodging, major diseases, and pest damage, ensuring stable yields. The ear attachment height is within 80-90 cm, facilitating harvesting. The potential yield of the variety reaches 12.0-12.5 tons per hectare when recommended agronomic practices are followed.

Adonis 180 SV is recommended for cultivation in various climatic zones of Ukraine, including the Polissia, Forest-Steppe, and Steppe regions. The optimal planting density at harvest varies by region: 80-90 thousand plants per hectare for Polissia, 70-80 thousand for Forest-Steppe, and 50-55 thousand for Steppe. Due to its agronomic characteristics and high disease resistance, the variety is well-adapted to conditions in steppe and forest-steppe zones.
