DN Start

Corn DN Start is an early corn hybrid characterized by high versatility and cold resistance. This trihybrid exhibits intensive water release from the grain, promoting faster crop drying and simplifying harvest. Plants reach a height of 240–250 cm, forming cylindrical ears 22–24 cm long with a red stalk and yellow cream-colored, toothed kernels. The hybrid is recommended for cultivation across various climatic zones of Ukraine, including steppe, forest-steppe, and lowland regions, with optimal pre-harvest density ranging from 50 to 90 thousand plants per hectare depending on the region. DN Start features high yields, potentially reaching up to 12.7 t/ha for grain use, and is suitable for silage production. The hybrid responds well to improved agronomic conditions, is resistant to lodging, drought, and heat, making it a reliable choice for farmers in variable climates. Grain has a 1000-kernel weight within 300–320 g, indicating high quality. Due to its resistance to diseases and pests, the hybrid ensures stable and high-quality yields. To achieve maximum productivity, regional seeding density norms are recommended: 50–60 thousand plants per hectare in the steppe, 60–80 thousand in the forest-steppe, and 75–90 thousand in the lowland. Seeds are treated with fungicides and growth stimulants, promoting strong initial development and plant hardening. DN Start is a modern hybrid combining high yield, adaptability to climatic conditions, and resistance to adverse factors, making it a profitable choice for agricultural production.
