Chumiza is a highly nutritious feed and treat for decorative birds, including canaries, parrots, and other small species. Chumiza grains are rich in proteins, making them more valuable compared to millet, corn, and oats. The composition includes fiber, ash, and a wide range of vitamins (A, B, C, E, K, PP), as well as minerals – iron, copper, calcium, phosphorus, and potassium.
Regular inclusion of chumiza in the birds' diet aids in tissue restoration, tones muscles, and normalizes metabolism. Thanks to its high content of vitamins and trace elements, it improves feather condition, strengthens the immune system, and positively affects the nervous system, helping to cope with stress.
To preserve product quality, chumiza should be stored in a dry room at a temperature between 0 and 30 °C with relative humidity not exceeding 75%. It is important to always ensure birds have access to fresh water. Chumiza is suitable for all small birds, providing good condition and bright plumage, making their appearance attractive and healthy.
