STACHUMI 3

Chumiza variety "STACHUMI 3" is a mid-maturing type with high grain yield (up to 38 t/ha) and excellent resistance to lodging and shedding, making it suitable for a wide range of soil and climatic conditions. The grain is characterized by a round, small, membranous structure, straw-yellow in color, with a 1000-seed weight of about 2.89 g. The grain contains protein in the range of 8–9%, and drying to a moisture level of 13–14% ensures good quality preservation.

The variety is oriented towards grain-fodder use: it can be used both for grain production and for producing green feed and hay. Green mass yield is approximately 28–30 t/ha, and dry matter is 10–11 t/ha. When used as a fodder crop, the grain provides 106–108 feed units per 100 kg, with one feed unit containing about 70 g of digestible protein.

For growing "STACHUMI 3", wide-row sowing is recommended in the third decade of April at a sowing depth of 3–4 cm and a seeding rate of 5–6 kg/ha. The variety is well adapted to production technology for cultivation and harvesting: it does not lodge or shed, and grain is easily threshed. Thanks to these properties, it is suitable for both large-scale agriculture and small family farms requiring a reliable source of high-quality feed.
