Chrysanthemum Autumn Gift

Fiery Accent for Your Garden: The 'Darunok Oseni' Chrysanthemum

Selected by the M.M. Gryshko National Botanical Garden, this variety embodies the quintessential autumn garden. 'Darunok Oseni' is a classic multiflora whose greatest strength lies in its genetic ability to form a flawless sphere without complex pruning or pinching. Unlike many imported hybrids, this variety is adapted to the climatic realities of Ukraine, making its development predictable and reliable.

Why Professionals Choose This Variety:

• Compactness: With a bush height not exceeding 30 cm, it is perfect for both flower beds and terrace container gardening.
• Concentrated Blooms: From early September, the plant transforms into a dense orange sphere. The small flowers (up to 5 cm) cover the bush so thickly that the foliage is barely visible.
• Extended Impact: Over 40 days of continuous blooming make 'Darunok Oseni' the visual focal point of the landscape when most perennials have already faded.

Pros and Cons: The undeniable advantage is its aesthetic appeal and low-maintenance shaping. However, its moderate frost resistance requires attention: in colder regions, it is advisable to cover the plant for the winter or move it to a frost-free area. This variety is light-loving; planting it in deep shade will result in the loss of its spherical shape and cause stems to stretch.

It is an ideal choice for landscape designers working with borders and private collectors who prefer plants with an 'intelligent' form that requires minimal human intervention.
