Chrysanthemum AUTUMN DREAMS

Ufa breeding legacy for the autumn garden

The 'Oseniye Grezy' (Autumn Dreams) chrysanthemum is a result of long-term efforts by breeders at the Ufa Federal Research Center of the Russian Academy of Sciences. The variety was developed as a specialized solution for climatic zones with significant seasonal fluctuations, where achieving a decorative effect before the onset of harsh frosts is essential.

Key characteristics and botanical features

• Compactness: A low-growing plant (up to 30 cm) is perfect for creating dense borders or filling the foreground of flower beds.
• Flowering: This is an early-blooming variety (September). Its small-flowered inflorescences (up to 5 cm in diameter) are noted for their color purity, featuring delicate shades of yellow and white.
• Resilience: High frost resistance allows the variety to successfully survive harsh winters, making it a reliable choice for regions with challenging agricultural conditions.

Role in landscape design

Due to its genetic profile, 'Oseniye Grezy' requires minimal maintenance provided it is planted in a sunny location. Intense light is a critical factor: only under direct sunlight does the plant display its characteristic foliage density and height. Compared to other decorative cultures, this variety stands out for its predictable growth patterns and stable flowering, qualities highly valued by both professional landscape designers and gardening enthusiasts.

This variety serves as a successful example of academic research applied to practical gardening, offering a low-maintenance yet visually impressive planting material for any garden.
