Chrysanthemum, also known as «zlatotsvet», is one of the oldest ornamental plants, with a history spanning over two and a half thousand years. The flower's homeland is considered to be China, where it was cultivated even in antiquity, and the first written mentions appear in the treatises of the philosopher Confucius. Over time, the chrysanthemum spread around the world, becoming a symbol of the autumn garden thanks to its long flowering period, which lasts from August to the first frosts. Thanks to the efforts of breeders, today there are more than 160 species and over 10 thousand varieties, differing in diversity of shapes and colors — from miniature to large-flowered, with flowers of various shades, including yellow, white, raspberry, and burgundy.
The «Autumn Dreams» chrysanthemum variety belongs to the Korean types and differs in compact bush size, about 35 cm high, and a flower diameter of 4-5 cm. This variety blooms from August to September, decorating the garden with bright and attractive inflorescences. The plant prefers sunny places with fertile soil, rich in humus and well-drained, which provides optimal conditions for growth and development. Moderate watering is necessary to maintain the health of the bush, while it is important to avoid over-wetting to prevent root rot.
Chrysanthemum «Autumn Dreams» has good winter hardiness and can survive in open ground with protection during frosts and temperatures below zero. The plant does not require complex care in the winter period, which makes it convenient for growing in gardens and on suburban plots. Thanks to its endurance and decorative appeal, this variety will become a wonderful decoration of the autumn flowerbed, pleasing the eye until the onset of cold.
