The Korean chrysanthemum variety 'Autumn Mystery' is a compact bush, 20 to 50 cm tall, with flowers up to 6 cm in diameter. This variety begins blooming in October, making it an excellent choice for autumn flowerbeds. Due to its size and decorative qualities, chrysanthemum is ideal for decorating garden plots and flowerbeds.
A key feature of cultivation is the possibility of obtaining mother plants — roots with sprouts, shipped from September to December. The later the shipment, the more shoots form on the mother plant. These mother plants do not require rooting or grafting; simply store them until spring, then divide them by one shoot to obtain a full bush. In spring, also available are pre-rooted cuttings, shipped from late May to late June.
The variety has good winter hardiness, characteristic of Korean chrysanthemums. Plants can overwinter in open ground under light cover or even without it, depending on winter conditions and planting location. Additionally, mother plants can be stored in unheated rooms or cellars, planted in pots and kept with slightly moist soil. All mother plants are labeled and securely packed for convenience and preservation during transportation.
