Description QUEEN TAMARA
The Queen Tamara chrysanthemum variety is a beautiful plant with a sturdy bush reaching a height of 60 to 70 cm. The bush is upright, branched, and features numerous dark green leathery leaves that give the plant a healthy and well-groomed appearance. The inflorescences are semi-spherical, double-flowered, of medium density, with a diameter of 7 to 13 cm, colored in shades of purple and lilac-purple. Blooming starts in August and continues until September or the first week of October, lasting about 25 days. The flowers have a medium aroma, do not shed petals, and do not fade in the sun, making them attractive for cutting and decorative use in the garden. For successful cultivation of Queen Tamara, it is recommended to choose sunny areas with well-drained, loose, and water-permeable soil. The plant prefers moderate watering, especially during dry summers, while it is important to avoid waterlogging, as chrysanthemums are more afraid of drowning than freezing. Fertilizing with phosphorus-potassium fertilizers during bud formation promotes abundant flowering and the development of large inflorescences. The optimal planting time for the middle belt is early May, which allows for larger and bushier plants by the blooming period. Queen Tamara is characterized by good winter hardiness and can survive outdoors if covered during frosty periods. The plant is drought-resistant and not afraid of waterlogging, but it does not tolerate shade well, so it is important to ensure sufficient sunlight. Due to its decorative qualities, prolonged blooming period, and resistance to adverse conditions, the Queen Tamara chrysanthemum is an excellent choice for gardeners who want to decorate their plots with bright and long-lasting flowers.
