Kozachka

Korean Chrysanthemum "Kozachka" — a perennial flowering plant distinguished by its striking appearance and vibrant coloration. The plant reaches a height of 70–90 cm, with double flowers measuring 9–12 cm in diameter. Blooming occurs at the end of September and into October, making this chrysanthemum a popular choice for autumn floral arrangements and cut flowers for bouquets.

To successfully cultivate "Kozachka," it requires a warm, sunny location with good drainage, as the plant does not tolerate waterlogged roots. Optimal planting sites have neutral or slightly acidic, nutrient-rich soil, which can be improved with organic fertilizers, manure, or biohumus. It is important to avoid excessive fertilization to prevent excessive green growth at the expense of flowering.

Planting chrysanthemums is recommended in spring after the threat of frost or in autumn, no later than two weeks before the first frost. When shipped in autumn, Korean chrysanthemums are packed with their root system in a moist substrate and protected to maintain viability.
