Chrysanthemum SNOWY PHOENIX

Commercial potential of 'Zasniezhena Feofaniya'

Developed by the Institute of Evolutionary Ecology, this chrysanthemum variety is designed for professional cultivation in open ground and protected tunnel conditions. With a height exceeding 60 cm, it serves as an excellent cut flower, combining sturdy stems with a long vase life of over 40 days.

Agricultural application and site management

• Professional Cut Flower Production: Early blooming (September) allows growers to harvest the crop before heavy autumn frosts, ensuring a clean, high-quality product. The medium-sized flowers (5–10 cm) are a staple for floral compositions.
• Landscape Integration: Exceptional cold resistance makes this variety an ideal choice for perennial garden beds, requiring minimal winter protection. The bush habit provides strong structural stability.
• Cultivation Requirements: To achieve peak production and uniform flowering, the plants must be placed in full sun. Insufficient light can negatively impact stem integrity and bloom density.

Beyond its visual appeal, the variety is distinguished by a potent, well-defined fragrance, adding significant value for garden center sales and decorative landscape projects. While adaptable to various soil types, providing phosphorous and potassium supplements during the budding phase will significantly improve yield quality and overall plant vigor.
