Garlic variety Yelovalium is registered in the State Register of Plant Varieties Suitable for Distribution in Ukraine and is intended for industrial cultivation taking into account local climatic conditions. The variety was registered in 2018 and is characterized by high yield, reaching 15 tons per hectare. The vegetation period lasts 235 days, allowing farmers to plan planting and harvesting dates according to regional climatic features. The average underground bulb weighs 110 grams, and the average clove weight is about 20 grams, indicating large size and commercial appeal of the garlic.
The plant exhibits resistance to bacterial rot, significantly reducing the risk of crop loss and improving its quality. The variety is recommended for cultivation in the Forest-Steppe zone, where it demonstrates good adaptation and productivity.
