Harnas

Harnas garlic is an early-maturing and frost-resistant variety with high yield, characterized by a sturdy above-ground part reaching 0.5 to 0.7 meters in height. The garlic heads are large, with a diameter of at least 45 mm, covered with dense scales with a purplish or violet hue, and cloves have a shiny brownish-cream coating. On average, each bulb contains up to 15 cloves, with head weight ranging from 50 to 80 grams, making this variety suitable for various culinary purposes.

The Harnas variety is distinguished by high storability and resistance to diseases, including fusarium, ensuring long-term storage and preservation of its quality. Thanks to these features, garlic is widely used in summer menus and is suitable for pickling, salting, and marinating vegetables. Its high yield and frost resistance make it attractive for cultivation under various climatic conditions.

Production and storage of Harnas garlic are carried out in accordance with modern standards: after harvest, it undergoes careful inspection and sorting, guaranteeing high product quality. The recommended sowing rate is 22–25 kg per 100 m², with yields reaching 80–150 kg per 100 m². These characteristics make the Harnas variety an ideal choice for market sales and long-term storage, ensuring a stable and high-quality harvest.
