Description Bogatyr
The "Bogatyr" hazelnut variety is distinguished by its early fruiting and high resistance to pests and diseases, making it a reliable choice for cultivation in various climatic zones. The tree is medium-sized, blooms in April-May, and the harvest period falls in August-September. The variety's cold tolerance reaches -35°C, allowing successful cultivation even in regions with harsh winters. To maintain tree health and productivity, regular watering (1-2 times per week), three feedings per season, whitewashing, and mulching are recommended. Young plants require winter protection with burlap for frost resistance.

The "Bogatyr" variety's fruits are large, weighing 13-15 grams, with thin shells that facilitate shell removal. The nut kernel is wheat-colored and features a high oil content — up to 70% — indicating its high quality and nutritional value. Yield per tree can reach 40 kg, making this variety especially attractive for commercial cultivation and private farms.

Due to its characteristics, the "Bogatyr" variety is suitable for cultivation in various climatic conditions and ensures a stable and abundant harvest. Its fruits are valued for their large size, thin shell, and high oil content, making them popular for fresh consumption as well as for culinary use and oil production.
