Late pink seedling from open pollination. Originator — Tatarian Institute of Horticulture. Author: L.A. Sevastyanova. Introduced into the State Register since 1993 for the Volga region.
Medium-sized tree; crown round-oval, medium density and foliage; bud is strongly deviated from the shoot; leaf reverse-egg-shaped, oval, dark green, no anthocyanin; apex pointed, base wedge-shaped, double-toothed margin, matte leaf surface, no pubescence on underside, flat leaf blade slightly curled upward; glands located at base of leaf blade, average number; petiole short, thin, ¾ length with anthocyanin; flowers small, petals freely arranged, white. Mixed flowering and fruiting type.
Fruit: mass 3.5 g, height 16 mm, width 20 mm, thickness 19 mm, shape broadly round, shallow round pit, rounded apex with small depression, dark red, flesh dark red, juice dark red, medium flesh density; pedicel short (33 mm), thin; stone round, mass 0.2 g, constitutes 5.7% of fruit mass, light brown color, rounded shape and apex base; average flesh detachment from stone.
Fruit appearance good; flesh juiciness strong; flavor average, slightly acidic; dry detachment from pedicel; suitable for mechanical harvesting; moderate fruit cracking resistance; technical use variety. Dry matter content — 15.66%, sugars — 10.5%, free acids — 1.75%, ascorbic acid — 12.2 mg/100g.
Flowering period — first decade of May; ripening period early-medium, even fruit ripening, medium age of fruiting onset (on 3rd year after planting); tree longevity 18-20 years; self-sterile variety. Yield — 7.5 t/ha. Tree and shoots resistant to winter frosts; generative buds and flowers moderately resistant to winter frosts and spring frosts, moderately resistant to coccomycosis, gummosis, and cherry sawfly. Suitable for intensive orchards.
Advantages of the variety: winter hardiness, yield, good rooting ability of green cuttings.
