Cherry variety 'Dilemma' is a tall tree reaching 3 to 5 meters in height with a dense, slightly drooping crown. The large, branched crown ensures good growth and fruiting. The tree begins bearing fruit from its fourth year, exhibiting stable and high yields that quickly increase after entering fruiting. Successful pollination requires the presence of a compatible pollinator. The variety shows good resistance to major diseases, including moniliosis, as well as satisfactory cold hardiness. 'Dilemma' cherry fruits are large, averaging 9-10 grams, sometimes reaching 15 grams. The fruits have an oval-heart shape and a beautiful dark red or burgundy hue with a bright burgundy flesh. The skin is thin but sufficiently strong, ensuring good transportability. The flesh is juicy, succulent, with a refreshing tart-sweet flavor and a slight acidity. The medium-sized stone separates easily from the fruit without damaging its integrity, which is an important advantage of this variety. Harvest occurs in the first decade of June, sometimes shifting to mid-month. One tree can yield over 50 kilograms of fruit. Due to its high dry matter content, the fruit is well-suited for drying. The 'Dilemma' variety is valued for its early ripening, stable yield, and excellent taste, making it attractive for both fresh consumption and processing.
