Description YELLOW CARAMEL
Yellow Caramel — an early carrot variety with a maturation period of 85-97 days. The plant forms an upright rosette of 8-12 leaves up to 40 cm high. The rootstock has an elongated conical shape with a pointed tip, 19-23 cm long (in some cases up to 30 cm), 4-5 cm in diameter, and weighs 130-180 g. A greenish head protrudes slightly above ground. The flesh of the rootstock is distinguished by a sweet, honey-like taste, juiciness, and a strong aroma, while containing almost no core.

The variety is characterized by high resistance to adverse weather conditions, carrot diseases, and cracking, which ensures a stable yield and long-term storage. Yield reaches up to 5.7 kg per square meter. Sowing seeds is recommended at the end of April — beginning of May at a depth of about 1 cm with inter-row spacing of 15 cm. After seedlings appear, thinning is carried out, leaving 5-7 cm between plants for optimal rootstock development.

Yellow Caramel is excellent for various uses: fresh rootstocks are recommended for salads and desserts, and are also suitable for canning and freezing. Thanks to their taste qualities and resistance, the variety is widely used both in home and industrial vegetable farming.
