CARAMEL WITH FILLING

Caramel with filling — a mid-ripening carrot variety that matures in 100–105 days. The root crop is distinguished by its bright purple coloring with a contrasting orange core, giving it a striking appearance when cut. The root crop has an elongated-conical shape, pointed, even, and smooth, 13–15 cm long, 4–5 cm in diameter, and weighs from 80 to 160 g. The leaf rosette is semi-spreading, which facilitates ease of cultivation and harvest.

The carrot flesh is sweet, juicy, and very appetizing, with a strong aroma, making this variety versatile for culinary use. Due to the bright color contrast, carrots are ideal for creating original vegetable compositions and artistic carving (culinary carving). It is recommended for preparing fresh salads, borscht, and vinaigrettes, and also retains its taste and color well when frozen.

The variety is resistant to bolting and root cracking, which ensures high-quality yield. The yield is 7.2–8.4 kg per square meter. Caramel with filling stores well until early summer, allowing for its prolonged use after harvest.
