Early Shantane-type carrot variety with excellent flavor and high marketability. Strong, healthy foliage. Roots are very uniform, short (11-16 cm), conical, well-formed at the tip. Core is juicy, intensely orange, indistinguishable in color from the flesh. Contains elevated levels of carotene and sugars, nearly no bitterness, and does not accumulate nitrates when fertilizer balance is maintained. Very high yielding. Maximum root harvest occurs between 78-86 days of vegetation. Suitable for fresh consumption and processing. Resistant to cracking, suitable for winter and early sowing. For storage, late sowing is recommended. Sowing rate for early production: 1-1.2 kg/ha; for mass harvest: up to 1.5 kg/ha.
