Norway Carrot F1 is a late-season hybrid of the Nantes type, developed by breeders from the Dutch company Bejo Zaden. The vegetation period is about 130 days from sowing, which allows obtaining a crop with high potential — from 4 to 5.5 kg per plant or 40-50 tons per hectare. The hybrid is adapted to various climatic conditions and is suitable for growing both in open and closed ground. It is recommended to plant Norway Carrot in light, loose soils with moisture control and the application of mineral or complex fertilizers to ensure optimal growth.

The carrots have a cylindrical shape, are long and straight, weighing from 100 to 200 grams. They have a rich dark orange color, and the flesh contains a large amount of carotene, B and A group vitamins, as well as about 7.7-8% sugar, which provides a pleasant taste. The root crops differ in a small core and a sturdy leaf apparatus, which is well attached to the fruit and has high resistance to pathogens such as cercosporosis, black leg, and spot.

Norway Carrot F1 is designed for mechanized harvesting and has a long storage period — up to 4-5 months, while maintaining high marketable qualities, including appearance and nutritional value, even after washing and polishing. This hybrid is versatile in application: suitable for fresh market distribution, processing, and cuisine, which makes it a profitable choice for farmers and vegetable producers.
