Norwalk

Norwalk F1 carrot is an early hybrid of the Nantes type with a maturity period of about 98 days, which can be harvested as early as day 85-90 with adjusted cultivation techniques. The roots are conical, about 20-25 cm long, and weigh between 70 to 100 grams on average. Its distinctive feature is the uniform, intense orange flesh and core color, which remains even after washing. The root's top does not turn green, indicating high quality and marketable appearance.

The carrot's foliage is dark green and tall, promoting good plant development. The Norwalk F1 hybrid is adapted for cultivation in all agroclimatic zones of Ukraine, making it a universal and reliable choice for farmers. In conveyor-style carrot cultivation, this hybrid has proven itself as one of the earliest to be harvested, allowing efficient planning of agronomic activities.

Norwalk F1 carrot is suitable for various purposes: it is ideal for retail sale both as a bunch and directly from the field, as well as for processing, particularly for juice production. The hybrid ensures short-term storage of up to 3-4 months, preserving freshness and flavor. The recommended seeding rate is 0.8 to 1.4 million seeds per hectare, which is optimal for achieving high-quality yields.
