Riga F1 carrot is a medium-late hybrid of the Nantes type with a vegetative period of about 120 days from germination to harvest. The roots are cylindrical, 16-18 cm long, about 5 cm in diameter, and weigh 100-200 grams. Their rich orange color is retained both on the outside and inside, with a small core. The root tip slightly protrudes from the soil, facilitating harvesting. The foliage is dark green, sturdy, reaching about 40 cm in height, and exhibits high disease resistance.

This hybrid is characterized by high yield and resistance to cracking, splitting, and bolting. The roots are not prone to developing green shoulders, improving their appearance and quality. Due to its high resistance to breakage, Riga F1 carrot is suitable for mechanical harvesting without loss of yield quality. The flesh is juicy, dense, and has a pronounced sweetness, making this variety versatile for fresh consumption, as well as for processing, canning, and freezing.
