Redco F1 carrot is a high-yielding hybrid of the chantenay type, designed for long-term storage. The roots have a vibrant orange color, length of 16 to 18 cm, and weight up to 160 g. The tops of the fruits are resistant to greening, enhancing their market appearance. The plants have a strong and well-developed leafy apparatus, and the foliage exhibits high resistance to bolting, allowing for long-term preservation of harvest quality. The vegetation period ranges from 120 to 125 days, and harvesting can be done manually or mechanically. Sowing seeds is recommended at the end of April, when soil temperature reaches +4...+6 degrees. Soil should be prepared by loosening and fertilizing, with seeds placed in furrows 2-3 cm deep and 5 cm wide, with rows spaced 20-25 cm apart. Covering the beds with plastic film can accelerate germination. Redco F1 carrot tolerates temperature fluctuations and can withstand soil frosts down to -4 degrees. After emergence, thinning is necessary, leaving 3-4 cm between plants for optimal root development. Redco F1 carrot is suitable for both fresh consumption and processing.
