Description Samanta F1
Samantha carrot variety is a mid-season hybrid of the Nantes type, with a maturity period of 100 to 110 days from emergence to technical ripeness. The roots are cylindrical with a blunt tip, 18 to 23 cm long, smooth surface, and vibrant orange color. The core is weakly expressed, the flesh is juicy, sweet, and has a strong carrot aroma. The foliage is robust, dark green, 30–38 cm long, with a semi-spread leaf rosette.

The hybrid shows intermediate resistance to Alternaria (leaf rot) and is not susceptible to major diseases and viruses, ensuring high quality and stable yields. Samantha carrot is resistant to cracking and retains well in the field, making it suitable for both main harvest and bunching. Yield is 3.5–4.0 kg per square meter.

Sowing is recommended in late April to early May at a depth of about 1 cm, with row spacing of 18–20 cm. After emergence, thinning is performed, leaving 5–6 cm between plants. Samantha carrot is versatile: suitable for fresh consumption, processing, and long-term winter storage, making it a profitable choice for various cultivation purposes.
