Marshal

Marushal carrot is a mid-season variety of the "Nantes" type, suitable for both early bundle harvest and long-term storage. The root crops are large, blunt-tipped, 14-16 cm long, and weigh 100-120 g. The flesh is juicy, crisp, and has an excellent sweet taste. The variety is resistant to bolting and root cracking, ensuring high crop quality and ease of storage.

Marushal cultivation technology includes sowing at the end of April - early May into well-moistened, loose, and fertile soil. Seeds are planted to a depth of 1.5-2 cm in a 4x20 cm pattern. To accelerate germination and retain moisture, seeds can be covered with non-woven material, which is then removed. To form large and straight root crops, seedlings must be thinned, leaving 5-7 cm between plants. Regular watering, soil loosening, and fertilization are important during the vegetation period; however, fresh organic fertilizers are not used. Soil moisture should be maintained evenly to avoid root cracking. Early harvest is possible by sowing in late October - early November.

The Marushal variety is distinguished by high yield and product quality, making it popular for home cooking and commercial cultivation. Thanks to its resistance to unfavorable conditions and good transportability, the carrot retains its taste and marketable qualities during long-term storage.
