Carrot SKOROVSKAYA ANNIVERSARY

Focusing on Early Harvest and Industrial Processing

«Skorovskaya Yubileynaya» is the result of fundamental selection by the Agrophysical Research Institute and the Vavilov Institute of Plant Genetic Resources. This variety is designed for growers who need a «fast start» to the season. The crop specializes in early bunching production, making it highly demanded by farmers focused on fresh market supplies in May and June.

Technological Advantages

• Film-covered planting: The variety is perfectly adapted for use in film tunnels and under row covers. This is critical for protecting early seedlings from late spring frosts and accelerating vegetation rates.
• Processing applications: Unlike standard salad-type carrots, «Skorovskaya Yubileynaya» features high flesh density. This makes it an optimal raw material for industrial processing: the carrot maintains its shape during slicing, retains color, and contains the necessary level of dry matter.
• Selection stability: The involvement of the V.R. Williams FRC in the variety's development ensures high genetic purity, which is essential for maintaining consistent commercial quality and size standards during mechanical harvesting.

Who is this variety for?

Choosing «Skorovskaya Yubileynaya» is a strategic move for operations seeking a balance between earliness and technical efficiency. Unlike foreign hybrids that often require ideal growing environments, this variety demonstrates high resistance to local climatic stresses. Its strength lies in its predictability when grown under protective covers. It is a reliable «workhorse» for producers aiming for early market entry and for processing plants that require high-quality domestic raw materials with good shelf life and stable taste profiles.
