Carrot Jitka F1

Reliable Yield in the Berlikumer Segment

Czech breeding by Semo traditionally focuses on reliability, and the 'Jitka F1' hybrid is a prime example. Unlike many early varieties aimed solely at quick turnover, this hybrid offers farmers versatility: from fresh market bunching production to long-term storage.

Geometry and Visual Appeal

The roots have a regular cylindrical shape, reaching 17–20 cm in length. The distinct orange-red color and smooth surface make the product highly attractive for supermarket shelves and local markets. The absence of an overdeveloped 'green shoulder' significantly reduces waste during commercial processing.

Why Choose 'Jitka F1'?

• Versatility: The variety performs exceptionally well for both processing (due to its high sugar and dry matter content) and storage purposes.
• Tech-Friendly: This hybrid is forgiving regarding minor agrotechnical nuances, which is ideal for large-scale operations.
• Quality Assurance: Semo's breeding process eliminates the risk of root splitting, maintaining uniform shape even under inconsistent irrigation.

'Jitka F1' is the optimal choice for operations that prefer to avoid splitting their planting schedule into 'summer' and 'winter' varieties. If you need a stable carrot that performs well during harvest and is highly sought after by processing plants and consumers alike, this is a choice for professionals.
