Larsson

Broccoli cabbage Larsson F1 — a mid-late hybrid developed by the Dutch breeding company Rijk Zwaan. The plant features a strong root system and medium height with a single stem. Leaves are gray-green with moderate waxy coating, blistered and slightly wavy at the edges. Stem is medium length, without anthocyanin pigmentation. Head is round-oval in shape, medium to large size, gray-green color, medium or dense, bumpy, without covering leaves. Head weight ranges from 0.5 to 0.9 kg, ensuring good market appearance and appeal.

The hybrid’s vegetative period is 70 to 90 days, allowing cultivation in various climatic conditions, including open ground. Larsson is resistant to low temperatures, alternaria, and Foc:1 disease, contributing to stable yield and product quality. The plant forms small-flowered inflorescences of dark green or gray-green color, which retain color and flavor during prolonged storage and transport.

Larsson hybrid is suitable for both fresh market and processing and freezing. High yield — from 3.0 to 4.2 kg per square meter — makes it an advantageous choice for farmers and gardeners.
