Cadance

Cadance F1 carrot is a late-maturing hybrid of the Nantes type, developed by the Dutch breeding company Nunhems Zaden. This hybrid has a long growing period — about 135 days — allowing the roots to fully develop and accumulate a significant amount of beneficial substances, including about 10% sugar and 20 mg of carotene. The roots have a cylindrical shape, smooth and even surface of vibrant orange color, 18 to 23 cm long. Thanks to its high resistance to cracking and breakage, Cadance carrot is suitable for mechanical harvesting and processing without losing its market quality.

The Cadance hybrid is versatile in use: it is excellent for fresh market sales, as well as for various thermal processing, canning, freezing, and processing into juices and purees. The carrot retains its taste and market appearance during washing and packaging, with the skin remaining intact, ensuring long-term storage and transportation without loss of quality. High sugar content makes this variety especially attractive for salad and other dish preparation.

For successful cultivation of Cadance carrot, it is recommended to follow crop rotation, loosen and moisten the soil, and promptly remove weeds. The hybrid adapts well to various soil-climatic conditions and can be grown on any type of soil. Due to its high yield — up to 5-6 kg per square meter — and resistance to adverse weather conditions, Cadance carrot is a reliable choice for farmers and producers focused on long-term storage and stable product sales.
