Carrot variety Artek is an early-maturing table variety with uniform root formation, reaching technical maturity in 50-75 days depending on growing conditions. The roots have thick-cylindrical or conical shapes with blunt ends, up to 16 cm long and weighing 75-130 grams. Their surface is smooth and even, colored bright red-orange, indicating high carotene content (9-12.8 mg per 100 g). The flesh is dense, juicy, and has a pleasant mildly sweet taste with sugar content of 5.8-6.7%. Variety Artek is highly adaptable to climatic conditions and various soil types, allowing cultivation in different regions and at different planting times: winter, spring, and summer. It is suitable for first and second crop rotations, as well as for winter sowing to obtain an early harvest. With proper care, yield can reach 4.5 to 6.5 kg per square meter within 50-70 days after sowing. Carrot Artek has high commercial qualities, does not crack under high humidity, and does not form knops, making it convenient for storage and transportation. The variety is resistant to white rot, enhancing its reliability during cultivation. Due to its flavor and versatility, carrot Artek is recommended for fresh consumption, processing, and home cooking.
