Aksoniya carrot is a mid-season, high-yield variety suitable for cultivation in both open and protected ground. The root crops have an elongated-conical shape with a slight tapering and a slightly pointed base, colored in a rich orange hue. The average fruit weight ranges from 150 to 190 grams; they are juicy, sweet, and crunchy, ensuring high taste qualities. The foliage rosette is semi-spreading with large-cut green leaves of medium length. The surface of the root crops is weakly ribbed, and the shoulder shape varies from flat to rounded with anthocyanin coloring. Dry matter content reaches 12%, total sugar is about 7%, and carotene is up to 11.5 mg per 100 g of raw product. Aksoniya boasts high yield, reaching 415-450 centners per hectare, which is 60-80 centners higher than the standard Chantenay 2461 variety. Maximum yield can reach 609 centners per hectare. The variety is disease-resistant, capable of growing well in arid and hot climates, as well as on heavy soils, while maintaining high marketability of fruits at the 72-76% level. Thanks to these qualities, Aksoniya carrot is suitable for long-term storage and transportation, making it profitable for commercial cultivation. Additionally, the variety is recommended for fresh consumption and processing. The plant forms a powerful and compact rosette with good foliation, which promotes efficient photosynthesis and root crop development. Carrots tolerate high temperatures and drought well, and possess cold hardiness. All these characteristics make Aksoniya a universal and reliable choice for various climatic conditions and cultivation methods.
