Carrot VIBRANT.

Technical Profile of the 'YASKRAVA' Variety

Developed by the Institute of Vegetable and Melon Growing of the NAAS of Ukraine, this variety is engineered to meet the stringent standards of the 'Nantes' type, focusing on high marketability and consistent yields. With a vegetation period of 96–100 days, it offers a predictable production cycle for commercial agriculture.

Morphological and Engineering Parameters

• Design: The cylindrical shape with a blunt tip reduces damage during mechanical harvesting and post-harvest handling.
• Dimensional specs: A length of 12–15 cm and a mass of 150–200 g ensure excellent uniformity, optimizing logistics for packaging and retail presentation.
• Quality: The deep orange pigmentation indicates high carotenoid content, aligning with the premium quality requirements for Nantes-type carrots.

Phytosanitary Resilience

A significant technical advantage is the variety's inherent resistance to Alternaria leaf blight and Cercospora leaf spot. For the grower, this translates to reduced dependency on chemical fungicide applications, lowering the overall cost of production while maintaining high output quality. 'YASKRAVA' is optimized for Ukrainian soil and climate conditions, providing a robust solution for intensive cultivation systems that prioritize both yield and plant health.
